Sited in the context of the Etna Park (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Parsifal Park is a naturalistic area, which offers activities for families and enthusiasts as well as enchanting places, where everyone can experience the magic of nature, relaxation and fun.
This is why it is "exciting by nature", not only because it is crossed by the imposing lava flow of 1910, or because it is immersed in a coppice, with oaks, downy oaks, chestnuts, oriental hackberry such as Celtis australis or “minicucco” and Celtis aetnensis or “bagolaro dell'Etna”, not to mention its certified collection of roses, very rare camellias as well as its collection of olive and cork oak bonsai, but also because Parsifal Park offers a set of activities aiming to rediscover a true, genuine and direct relationship with nature.
It is a magical place to experience, rich in enchanting corners to get in touch with nature and rediscover the origins of the ancient trades in this area, while tasting the typical, farm-to-table products, as in the appealing show-cooking with aromatic herbs.
A knowledge of the habitat, the natural ecosystem and the fauna: the park offers environmental education itineraries with raptors in flight (falconry shows with the masters Rosario Privitera, Agatino Grillo and Savino Farsaperna), star discovery events with the typical astro-barn, micro-magic and parrot shows with the magician Nelson, hiking trails with the Etna guide Carmelo Nicoloso, shows with the fire artist Giuseppe Lo Basso and his python, the puppet show Burattinando, photography and woodworking events with Pietro Art Etna.
Parsifal Park is 5 hectares wide, where it offers a children's play area, an event area for celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms and confirmations (also with catering service), a picnic area with 400 seats and individual barbecues, a theatre for performances and events, internal parking and a camper area (connections for energy, water and equipment for Carthago loading and unloading), reserved nursery for breastfeeding and relaxation, toilet facilities, coffee bar, shuttle excursions, activities for schools with targeted educational trails, itineraries for differently abled, for visually impaired and not sighted guests (braille track).
In the 3 hay barns with grass roof, which were reconstructed in the typical conical shape open at the top with particular attention to their peculiar natural context, a varied selection of spices and typical local products can be tasted or purchased, thanks to the project of the European Agricultural Fund of Rural Development, co-financed by the European Union.
